Our Elks lodge in Santa Ynez has a fund raiser for the youth of the Santa Ynez Valley every May, along with a lot of other fund raising venues is a "nut fry", I have been going to this event for a lot of years now and is a lot of fun to watch some of the younger crowd try to decide if they will eat them or not. Smell pretty rank while cooking and cleaning before the frying takes place. A local restaurant serves "turkey nuts " on the menu all year round. My ex-mother in law almost choked when she found out what she was eating at dinner one night. Try em you might like them, as long as there not yours.
