I was in the PO today, and they had the below sign in an 8x10 placard at the front of the counter .... Note the part about "Books ... containing no advertising matter ... " .. she also told me that "matter" was both printed ads and inserted loose materials ...

The gal that waited on me is experienced and friendly, and I asked her what that was all about, and explained our Club Mag to her.

She said they are starting to crackdown on Media Mail, and if our club mag had Advertising in it, then it does not qualify for Media Mail. I thanked her for the info and she made me this copy of this notice.

I am just throwing this out here for the general benefit and discussion for and by club members on a slow night......
