As most of you know I am totally against slabbing in any shape size or form.
My question would be if a so called rare chip were slabbed
a] Who is competent enough to do the grading? I strongly doubt that any slabbing company has such a person.
b] If some question arose as to the authenticity of the chip, it would have to be removed from the slab to be checked. Doesn't that sort of defeat the whole purpose of the slab to begin with?
