Impossible? Nothing is impossible but some things come very close.
Below is a chip that was drilled and repaired. It is impossible to tell with the naked eye or normal desk magnafying glass. It is being xrayed as I type. Will post results when I get them.
I am hoping the posting of these repaired or counterfeit chips will educate club members on what is out there and to be wary when spending large sums on scarce chips.
