.... I am sure there is someone that would take exception to "ground", which is part of the earth and would offend someone being offended by the "environmentally sensitive" ground being penetrated by a lowly animal .......

.... and also the PETA folks, which surely would be offended by exploiting for fun the antics of such a poor defenseless animal as the groundhog ... !!
