I live in Las Vegas and my favorite Hotel Casino has for the last several months, holds a Free Slot Tournament for members of their slot Club. If you are the High score for the session, you received $100. If you were second in your session, your received $50 and if you were third, you received $25.00. The winner went on to the "Finals" where Much bigger prizes were allocated. I FINALLY WON. I CAME IN SECOND.
I have never won a slot tournament before.
Just the idea was exciting. When I saw the listing, I yelled across the casino to my wife, bragging about me winning. The listing said to go to the Slot Tournament room to collect my prize.
I would take the winnings and either pay for dinner or play some slots. Was I excited!!!!
I went to the room to collect my $prize. The gentleman who was in charge of the awards was very excited for me also. He said congratulations and proceeded to fill out a form.
A couple of friends of mine who were visiting, came with me to collect the Prize and especially when they heard me screaming. They thought I had won a fortune. After completing the Form, the Gentleman told me what I had won. HE said, this certificate is good for: A BOX OF POPCORN AND A DRINK AT THEIR MOVIE Theatre. The old saying, IF IT WASNT FOR BAD LUCK, I WOULDNT HAVE ANY LUCK AT ALL.
