Thanks for the information Archie. I'm sure the officers had what they thought were the best interests of the club at heart when they formulated those policies. I think what you're hearing though is some feeling from at least a portion of those online that those policies should be revamped and relaxed. Steve Brock made some excellent points on the club board and I won't try to repeat them here. Although I realize it can be irritating for some long-time members (and I'm NOT directing this at anyone personally but just as a general statement) to have "newbies" come along who seem to want to "rock the boat" and change things, I think it's healthy. A vibrant club like ours needs lots of ideas. We need to be open to growth and change. All the new ideas won't be adopted but that people are interested enough to express them, I think is a good thing.
