Make sure you attend at least one show (if you have not previously seen an old style Vegas "spectacular" show, I suggest Jubilee at Bally's). Do not get stuck gambling (allot no more than 20 minutes to a table) or in a single casino, time passes very quickly in Vegas. The bar at the top of Rio has a nice view of the town, so does the revolving restaurant at the Stratosphere tower. Take a look at some of the free attractions such as the volcano in front of Mirage (comes live every 30 minutes or so I believe), the battling ships in front of Treasure Island (TI) (once every 1.5 hours is it?), the fountains in front of Bellagio, Caesars Forum shops, Venetian's mezzanine floor with the canal and gondolas, shops, and a replica of San Marco Square (the gondoliers sing for you when you ride the gondolas, but you usually need to reserve the ride ahead of time), and maybe get to ride the 3-D simulation ride "Race for Atlantis" in the Forum shops (it is fun). There are also the white lions along the secondary entrance to the Mirage. If you are bold and adventurous, you can ride the rides at the top of the Stratosphere tower or the New York New York roller coaster. Finally, the Fremont Street Experience downtown may be interesting for a look see. The street (with casinos on both sides) is closed to vehicles and is covered with an electronic canopy on which there is a light show with music every hour if memory serves right.
