When I first saw Gene's initial post, I understood why he wanted to make the post to educate us, but it also occurred to me that if no one was able to positively identify the drill marks, it would have the effect of reinforcing the belief of those who are having chips fixed that they can get away with it. Just a thought.

[I for one can say that I have never had a drilled or notched chip fixed, have never knowingly held or seen in person a drilled or notched chip nor owned a chip which would be valuable enough to bother fixing. ]
