I appreciate the work that the CCGTCC has done to deal with the issue of altered/repaired casino chips, I know that this is a very difficult situation. Other than the brass cores, is there a list of chips that are known to be altered? Is there a list of individuals that are known to have used Mr. Whalens services to repair/alter chips? I would like to be able to know if I have any chips that have been altered/repaired and to also avoid purchasing them in the future. How do suggest that chippers protect themselves from unknowingly acquiring altered/repaired chips?
