THE GOOD NEWS:

The US POST OFFICE has 2 new FLAT RATE PRIORITY MAIL BOXES. I think they are both on the flat side. One is approx 12 x 3 x 13. Flat rate of $7.70 or 7.40. I forgot what I read at the PO.
Getting older. Any destination in US. That can really save you some money.

The BAD NEWS:

United Parcel Service has some oversized package rates and the packages do not have to be very large. Use to be 108 inches, but now it must be 50 or so. I cannot find it explained on their web site.
They will kick the weight of the package up to 30 lbs no matter what it weighs.
Watch out.
