Funny thing about Fuji, I did a report on them in college. They were one of the first along with Canon (I think) that came out with the still video camera in 1984. Precursor to the digital camera. Saw some promising things back then but the consumer market wasn't ready for it plus the computers didn't have the raw power it does now.
Film won't disappear but digital sure is making headway into traditional silver halide processes. These companies have to diversify. The only people who will being using film in the future will be xray technicians. ;-)
