Wife and I went on the British Museum tour on our honeymoon 14 years ago... she almost passed out from excitement when she stood next to an original manuscript of Handel's Messiah, which we had just got done performing in our community chorus. We only spent a few hours in the British Museum, one really needs several days or a full week to appreciate everything in there.
