As I mentioned last week, I saw the 1st draft of Rene's limited edition book and was impressed. I showed it to Ed Fasulo, General Manager of The Fiesta. He was equally impressed. Ed has always supported the hobby. He is the person responsible for the free convention chips the Fiesta gave out, the last 2 years.

I am now looking at the 1st completed copy of the book. To quote Rene: It is "Awesome."

Ed Fasulo and the Fiesta Casino Hotel have made arraignments with Chipstar, to support the 1st edition of "Nevada Limited Edition Chips." The Fiesta has taken the back cover and will issue a special limited edition no value chip, free, to the 1st 500 chippers that buys the book and stops by the Fiesta. These arraignments were made at the last minute so the chip will not be ready for pick up until January 15, 2000. The coupon in the book will be honored through next years CC>CC convention dates and expire on July 31, 2000.

I can not answer questions on the chip at this time, as the design will not be submitted until this week. The Fiesta believes, books of this type will help grow the hobby.
