Mark, I am glad you brought this up. It is a good point and is related to something I had previously discussed with Scott Hartman at the Palms show in Vegas, in regard to what I will call "Vacation hold". His concern was twofold: 1)"What if I sell a chip from Collecting Fun, delete the entry from my inventory, then get a similar one which I wish to put up for sale?", and 2) "What if I go on a trip for 2 months, during which I cannot respond to potential buyers?" My response was that we were planning a type of "Vacation hold" where a seller could relegate items to the background, until such time as it became necessary to list them for sale again. That way information is not lost. We could presumably easily expand this to include cases where a seller had no items to list for at least a month (or a 31 day period). While there would be a small charge for the "Vacation hold" case, we may freeze the fees altogether (or charge a token amount so you do not forget us altogether) for the last case (i.e. no items for a month, neither in the background or foreground). We are always looking for ways to improve our service and I am happy to hear sellers' and buyers' concerns and comments. The "Vacation hold" feature will be available soon. I would like to learn more regarding what kind of an arrangement you would prefer regarding non-listing.
