There obviously is nothing illegal in what you are doing.
On the other hand, you certainly are not doing a service to this hobby by producing more questionable stuff that will ultimately fall into the hands of an unsuspecting collector.

Sure you are up front in your auction but what happens when the chip passes thru a few hands and gains supposed legitimacy along the way.
I wonder who will be the first to get screwed buying one of these.
