Jim, I can't say for sure, but this is what I was able to piece together. The regulations in Indiana require the exact name of the casino be put on the chips. Some one at Paulson or at the casino messed up, & the chips were produced with Indiana Gaming on them or the other way around. In any event, the casino had to return their entire rack which was then hot stamped with a gold spider web and sold at the stores for $.65 each. I have a rack of $5's, $25's, $100's & $500's. I don't recall seeing any $1 chips. Casino Miami was told that these chips were not secure & still borrowed them before they had their own chips made up. I never thought of using the ones I got for $.65 on the boat, because that would be cheating. I may have some larceny in me, but I'm not a thief. I hope this clears up the picture for you.
