I went to the cashier cage at the Gold Coast in search of NFR $5 chips.I bought 4 from this year and asked for other years. I was told to come back in 3 hours and I would be able to get some. Well, I returned and was told by the same person that Gaming said they are not allowed to sell chips in this way at the cage.I called the Gaming Control Board and they told me it really was not the Board's problem as I was after coommemeratives. Either way I thought I was getting the run-a-round and that I was being lied to. What is the deal? Has anyone had this problem or is it isolated? Please e-mail me personally if you respond as I don't check the message board as often as I should.I just want some NFR chips at face value.And living here in Las Vegas, it usually is not a problem.
