I'd think yours would be an unusual situation Rick. Dropping a quarter through the slot on a dollar machine with a pan with dollar tokens sitting in it might be viewed as trying to skirt the law on the cheap. Had you fed the machine a $10 bill, spun the reels once, cashed out and picked up all of the tokens, there'd be no reason for a hassle. The casinos will look for scavengers who pick up forgotten winnings. I think that's the situation you found yourself in.
