Given that this is a series of games that we all could have a stake in the WSOP, real concerns about who is/was involved isn't what I'd call going berserk. Availability of the tournament director for questions concerning a particular tournament shortly before the start of the tournament should be something for you to consider. While this tourney went okay, a couple players sat out due to what were unanswered questions.

Fixing future problems with abstract passwords will help, but, letting us know who the new kids are will help even more.
