Most sellers are better established and have more to lose (reputation-wise) than most buyers, so that is why the general rule is "seller gets paid first...... ....." .... ....... ........ You are right to be concerned in the case you describe, but you should have worked it out before bidding. ... ..... .......I always liked PayPal because neither the buyer nor seller learns the others credit card number.
