If you are a Chip Collector, it is logical to assume that you have taken a chance on occasion.
Here is a stock for your consideration. ISLE
owns a number of casinos including "Our Lucaya"
in the Bahamas & also the Pompano Park Raceway.
There was an amendment to the Florida State Constitution which approved Miami-Dade & Broward counties having a referendum to approve Slot Machines at pari-mutual facilities. (there are seven in the two counties.)
If you will look at a Florida map you will see that anyone coming South on I-95 will get to
Pompano Park Raceway with the greatest of ease.
There is no amendment to allow Palm Beach County
to have a referendum to have Slot Machines.
Getting to other pari-mutual facilities in Broward
& Miami-Dade Counties is much more difficult.
The "Indian casinos" & off-shore casino cruises
are against the referendum for obvious reasons.
I think it will pass & Isle of Capri's Pompano
Park will become very active with Slots.
If it fails in March, you will still be a stock
holder in all those Isle of Capri casinos, which
are not the worst investment in the gaming community - if it all fails - please don't hate
