It is unfortunate that Travis has had some computer problems. It drives home the point about backing up vital data. The one thing to remember about computers is not IF the computer will crash - yet WHEN the computer will crash.

Macintosh's are immune to crashes - in fact Murphy showed me that they too could crash at the most inopportune times! I was working on a design review and customer presentation a few years back (when the company I work for used a mixture of MACs and WinTel based machines). Yup I was on a MAC, and not only did it crash - I lost my files and even the most recent back-up... The good news if you can call it that - is that I had a old back-up on a Bernoulli removable disk (yes it was a 20 Meg Disk - why do you ask??? <VBG> Yes this was a few years ago...). Unfortunately this back-up was a about a week old...

The moral of this and Travis' story - BACK UP VITAL DATA at a period that you can afford to lose this data.
