Thanks again, I think my 1st question is covered but it still leads me back to my 2nd question.

"Why would a repaired/modified chip be valued more than one that is in it's original condition either cancelled or not?"

Maybe I'm missing something in this logic. In most every other type of collectible, items repaired or altrered usually result in a reduction of value.
