many people (myself included) don't like bidding on items with a reserve. A good example are two different auctions for a $5 bicentennial Golden Gate chip: the first one was a reserve auction and got bid up to $81.50 (didn't meet the reserve); the second auction (different seller) had no reserve and ended up selling for $234.50. I try to start my auctions at a low price and see where the bidding takes it...sometimes you win, sometimes you lose -- but that's !! Steve B
