What do Casinos do when they discontinue chips? Do they drill a hole in them or destroy in some other way? I am looking to acquire lots Las Vegas casino chips (Strip and Downtown casinos)for much less than face value. I am not a collector, but looking to create some artwork based on Las Vegas casino chips. Every website I check out is collectors and information about chip values and types of chips. Is it possible to buy discontinued chips in bulk for much less than face, or do they all instantly become collectibles and worth more than face value? Thanks in advance for any help/guidance. Steve
