Agree and for the number received, I'd say it's one in three that respond.
I send feedback when I ship. Mostly because I tend to forget things, so it's best to do it right away.
But the point made is, when the item is paid for, it's as good as a completed transaction.
I've had returns, I've had complaints (which were replaced or refunded, but there's no reason for hasty, angry feedbacks that we sometimes see. "Buyer took three days to pay" or something stupid like, "It took a week to get here." Sheeesh.
I've had people take two weeks to pay, after chasing them in emails. Usually they are busy moving, out of town, dropped the ball or some simple reason. I've only had ONE bidder who won, never responded and never paid. I left a Neutral for her and blocked her from bidding on my auctions.
I also agree that feedback blackmail goes on. It's not necessary.
So tell me, what kind of feedback system does Fun Colecting use? How come I look and look and can't find one chip listed from Indian Casinos, or Wisconsin?
The one thing that eBay offers, for all it's faults and possible pitfalls, is a wide selection.
BTW best wishes Erdal and good luck with your site. Just because it doesn't fit my needs and I like being able to bid on things, not always have a higher fixed price, doesn't mean it won't work for other chippers.
Jackpot has been hanging in there and trying to be the casino collectors auction site. I hope they continue as well.
I think the way to sell something, like a chippers exchange site, for example, isn't negative reviews, running down another site or pointing out what most of us already know about eBay.
I'd rather see positive reasons why Collecting Fun is good for people than the top 15 reasons why something else, is "bad" might be a problem.
