Scott asked for opinions on his shipping charge policy. He is getting answers. He would not have asked if he did not want to hear the opinions of others.
As to your suggestion, that is exactly what I do. I evaluate the auction to include shipping and other terms. I do not bid on auctions with terms / policies I do not like. It just so happens that Scott's policy is one that I do not like so I do not bid.
By the way, there is no need to shout.
