Don't forget you get alot who don't know what they are bidding on. Some who bid and forget and others who really didn't want the item in the first place.

This has nothing to do with chip auctions but my boss puts alot of heavy equipment on ebay to sell, lately he has been getting people bidding on items and they don't repond either. Once we have there phone numbers we call them and ask for payment. The excuses are. "We really didn't want it" or "I didn't know I had to buy it".

so why do they bid on it?
