All of the "good soldiers" in Harrah's management are to be commended for pitching in to keep the properties up and running. Unfortunately, this strike is also having a devastating effect on the personal lives of those "good soldiers". For those who do not have a connection in strike-torn Atlantic City, my daughter is busting her hump at Showboat working double shifts (it's expected!)to help keep the property running (to my knowledge without commensurate compensation). She is a single parent whose has lost quality time with her daughter, never to be regained, and is struggling to make ends meet because of the extraordinary additional cost of after school programs and child care. The "Corporation" will immediately recover from the strike but I have doubts about how many "good soldiers" will. I'm curious how much money Harrah's will have to add to their EAP after the strike is over.

This father/grandfather is sick with worry from concern about the health and welfare of his daughter and granddaughter! The strike has harmed the lives of Harrah's people up and down the corporate ladder, it must end soon!
