Jim.... I don't own any brand of the new digital cameras that are on the market, (yet) much less a Sony Mavica. I think that as far as taking pictures for posting on the internet via a .20¢ disk with one of these new cameras, it's a fine new toy to play with. But for reproducing photos on a home use printer..... unless one has an excellent, top of the line, quality printer with photo quality glossy paper..... aren't 35mm photo developing color prints superior quality photos and easier to show to family and friends than 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of flimsy ordinary copy paper? Not trying to be funny.... just showing my ignorance on the subject.
