If you are saying that the reason BJ cannot be beat longterm, is because it will be hard for them to continue playing... We almost agree. I was just stating that there are systems that can beat Blackjack, and they can be used for profit. My dad plays 2 to 3 times per week and spreads his action between 5 or 6 riverboats and Indian casinos in this area. Most dealers and pit people are novices and don't have a clue. Especially the Indians run casino's around here. They wouldn't know a counter if one bit them in the butt! I know you are speaking from a Las Vegas standpoint, and dealers and pit people are more experienced out there. I am sure many people wonder why many times dealers call out to the pit bosses "Splitting Tens". I remember playing at the Barbary Coast and split 10's with a very high positive count. When the dealer called to the pit bosses "Splitting 10's.... like he knows what he is doing!" I figured to was time to try my luck somewhere else.... quickly!
Teams have popped Indian Casino's out here good as recently as last year. They didn't know what hit them. I am sure you have some very interesting stories to tell about the old days of team play. I will buy you a few cocktails sometime and maybe you can tell me some.
You probably played in some games with my Dad back in the 60's. He says it is easier pickings out here than out there now. The "heat" is a lot milder out here, in more ways than one!
