Good post, Jim. I had my belly full of neighborhood politics in Oregon. I want chip collecting to be fun. I think part of the problem is this hang up about "official" communications. If we're friends, why can't we talk to each other? I hang out at "Greg's Cafe" with a bunch of my chipper friends. I don't know most of the board members. I think I could get to know them better if they'd hang out with the rest of us and talk to us. I understand most of the membership is not online. I know the board members are. Sometimes they act like celebrities with bodyguards - I can't get close to them. I think a lot of our growth will come from the web. It would be good if we had fewer barriers.

Not a complaint, just a suggestion.
