As a transplant from the east coast, I have become a Cub fan and I am hurting as much as you fans that have suffered for the past 40-50 years. I, too, am going to pass on the last few games of the season. The Tribune (owners), the vendors, the Cubs organization, and the players are all winners this year because of the support of their fans. Unfortunately we, the fans, are the only losers, AGAIN. IMO the Cubs do not have the "killer" instinct to be successful. They have probably one of the best managers that has come along in MLB in the last 40-50 years, unfortunately he is not a magician. If they do turn around and get into post season play, it will not be because of their great offense!
