It's hard to understand why Vic won't own up to the problem or make good on his swindle, but I had won nine chips in separate lots on eBay from him. He didn't get as much as he wanted on the bids, so he charged me $1.85 postage on each chip, explaining that he didn't combine shipping. The problem was that he sent them all together in a single envelope which had $1.29 postage on it, for all nine chips. He pocketed the difference and refuses to refund any of it. He also refused to go through eBay Square Trade arbitration. It's been over a year, and he's still unable to understand why it's a bad thing to post on a message board which includes customers he's screwed. In a brief moment of temporary honesty, he admitted he did it for "profit, pure and simple." Meanwhile, he's not a member of the national group (CC+GTCC) because he doesn't care to be regulated by rules of fair trade, and he was booted out of his local group (Deep South chapter at the time) for similar reasons of questionable ethics.
Other than being a complete con artist, he's really a sweet guy :) Anyway, if you care to trade with him, start the paperwork now for a second mortgage. The postage will be enormous.
