I don't know if there was mention of this previously, so I will post this as a new find.

Pictured below are two different newly issued $1.00 chips from Reno Harrah's. The differences are two. The $1 in the chips are different sized and the color of the words "Reno, Nv. are different.

Also, apparently $26,000 in countfeit $5.00 chips were discovered from the Cal-Neva in Reno. They now have removed all the new chips and are using the old metal inserted chips of yesteryear. I suppose they will be ordering a new rack, but that has not been confirmed.

And yes, it looks as if Harvey's in Lake Tahoe is going to try to compete with the Palms as far as issuing new commemerative are concerned.
