I have put a number of chips (small denominations and mostly current) up for sale on Ebay. This is my second attempt of listing chips so if you happen to peruse the list, please take this in consideration.
I wasn't going to announce the Ebay listings on the board as I didn't want any of you COLLECTORS to overbid on these chips if you happened to see something you like. But I have come up with another idea.
If any collectors sees anything they might like, please contact me first via e-mail to see if I have duplicates (in most cases I will.) Then we can arrange for a possible trade. This way you will save, not only the postage of $1.25, but of paying in excess of face value for chips that might be overpriced.
I am making this offer with the hopes that others will follow. Wouldn't it be a lot more fun if we could go back to the "good old days" as was described by Archie and others whereas people that had a common interest could just trade a stack for a stack instead of trying to "hustle" a fellow chipper?
I'm not talking about dealers in this case. I mean just folks like most of us are who enjoy collecting, and gathering together at meetings and conventions.
Enough Rambling. I am going to try attaching my e-bay link. If it doesn't show up, then forget this whole message.
By the way, I have around 1,000 trading chips (plus or minus a few hundred, albeit most are duplicates) so I will be adding to the ebay postings when I return from another small chip run to Northern California at the end of the month.
