Jim: I haven't experienced the "Bermuda Triange" on Feebay but I have had seller's pull items at the last minute when the bids were too low. When it happened to me the auction stayed on with a notice that the "item is no longer available" or some such.

Had the same person do the same thing with the same item twice. I complained about it to Feebay and they were, of course, very concerned and sympathetic. Actually I think their reply was something about where the sun doesn't shine.

Again, it's how monopolies work as I learned in law school. High prices, poor quality, lousy service.
