Don't feel too bad, Mark, I thought I had a real winner when I pick up my set of the Four Queens Poker Classic. It was marked 1/1200. I found out at the convention that all 1200 sets were marked the same way.
Now here is the real problem. If I were to have tried to sell this set on Ebay or other places, I guarantee you I would have represented my set to be the first of the issue. If it were not for the CC>CC and Greg's Board that introduced me to so many other chippers, that were kind enough to set me straight, I would have not known the difference.
Just as an afterthought, I thought you may like to know I consider Bob Orme as one of my great mentors and cherish his opinions when he is so kind enough to take the time and express them. Possibly age has mellowed me but I accept most criticism as a sign of concern from the individual offering it. This is one way one learns and as you will find out as you mature.
Don't think you are the only one being lectured to on this board. I doubt if anyone who participates on this board as a regular course of action has escaped
criticism from others. Believe it or not, most of us on this Bulletin board are friends, even though it may not sound like it.
