Just for the record, I agree with what you say, John. I've also been reprimanded recently for calling one of those round clay cash value things a chip. It's a CHEQUE! The NCVs are CHIPS. However, for us Yankee chip collectors, it is convenient to use the word chip or cheque to refer to the American style of casino stackables, and jeton when speaking of the European style. Unless of course you want to get technical <G>!
