Yes is was! I got 165 new chips for my collection while I was there, 121 from the gaming show. I found it very hard to get more than 1 each of anything.

There's a tremendous amount of new games and technology we will be seeing in our local casinos soon, not the least of which are a bunch of great games from IGT, and a voucher system called EZ Pay that allows you to cashout from one machine on a ticket that can be inserted in the bill validator of another machine or taken to the cashier. In this world of 9 line, 45 coin max bet penny and nickel slot machines, coin is just a pain. Most people put bills in, and take the coins to the cashier when they cash out, so the odds of running the hopper dry and having to wait for an attendant is way high.
