I talked to Charlie Indy today. I have the CJ Sisk $100 and $1 business chips with the Industrial Rd address on them. I can not post them as the board file upload does not work. Will do it later.
Jeanette Sisk was Paul Indy's Mother's maiden name. The C in CJ Sisk was a partner in the Co when it 1st began Charlie has forgotten the guys name.
CJ Sisk Co was started by Paul Indy's father in Ca in the 40's. It sold only playing cards to Ca card rooms. No chips or other supplies.
Paul Indy bought 1/2 of TR King. Paul desided to move to LV. He sold out in TR King and started Paul-Son. When Paul's father retired he gave CJ Sisk to Paul with the stipulation that Paul would still service Ca.
CJ Sisk began full gaming suppy sales to Ca card rooms sometime in the 60's.(Not just cards.) According to Charlie Indy all Ca sales were made through CJ Sisk until Paul-Son went public. I think it was about 1995. CJ was folded all the way into PS when they went public.
So CJ only sold in Ca. In reality it was Paul-Son. Charlie told me when he went into a Ca card room, someone would yell to the owner, "The Sisk man is here."
Charlie said several chippers have come in and talked him out of some sample chips. They are fairly recent minatge. Early 90's.
Mike D the GM, promised me more CJ samples. If he comes through, I will make them available on the board for postage only.
