It seems to me that it is assumed that just because you are a newbie that you are a moron and lack the common sense to judge the fairness and validity of an ebay auction.

Although I am new and do not own any kind of price guide book, I try to do my homework before I bid on any chip.(I am looking to get a price guide at some point.)

The listed or suggested price someone lists on an auction has never had an impact on me to buy a chip. Sometimes if someone writes to much garbage in their description it actually makes me suspicious thinking they are trying to sneak something by.

Just one newbies perspective.
