I may be wrong but I think attacking Jim Reilly is the wrong way to go here.In my (humble) opinion Jim is just trying to make a SIMPLE point...
-If a seller is using a guide that had been published 4 years ago that guide obviously omits any happenings after it was published(i.e A FIND)
-If a newbie(like myself) decides he wants a chip, that newbie would like to know the CURRENT info available on the chip( scarcity,value),and not be provivded with outdated info...It is hard for new collectors to have info about the hobby when they haven't been involved for long...
So I think Jim has the best of intentions by making the points that he does,and as a new collector i appreciate it.I'm not sure that anyone is breaking the Ethics Code,but it doesn't mean that someone ISN'T being misleading unintentionally.
ps-hopefully no one will take this post as a personal attack because that isn't the idea here
