Well, I spent a week relaxing in Michigan and found myself enjoying the rain and getting banned from a casino.
The chips. The Kewadin Casino have new roulette chips. They are "roulette" mold and have Kewadin Casino hot stamped on them. I got precious few of these because they were eying me good. I managed a few in my pockets as they raked the last of the chips played. I know these were the only ones taken because the stacks were perfect except for the three I took.
The Kewadin also have a different $1 chip I had not seen. From the looks of the condition, they are not new. I have some for sale.
I got the Sault St Marie Kewadin and exchanged some American monet for Canadian and preceeded to get some Canadian denominated chips as well. They are $1 dark brown and the $5 teal.
The Victories Casino is where the fun started. I sat at the roulette table and saw the stacks were uneven, so I pocketed an entire stack. After I was done, I hit the craps table to get some $1 chips. About three minutes into the game, the roulette dealer showed up and asked, "Sir, did you take a stack of roulettes from the table?" I of course answered NO and went on with the game. Apparently I was not convincing enough because about a minute later, an armed guard showed up and said, "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you the leave." I was amazed. I picked up my chips and started for the door with the security guard right behind me. When I reached the outside I was told, "You are not welcome in this casino ever again. If you are found in here, we will have you removed." Enough for me.
I stopped by the Soaring Eagle on the way home and picked up some $1 and $5 chips. The trip there was uneventful, but then again, I did not try any roulettes.
Listed below are the chips if you want them. The prices are as follows:
$1 chips: $2.50
$5 chips: $7
Roulette: $3
Supplies are very limited on some, so wait for a reply before sending any money.
