I hope I was clear on my post that I DO NOT charge for my personal time and figure that into the shipping price.

One other point I would make, for those of us that don't do a massive amount of selling -- If you don't buy padded mailers in huge chunks, say boxes of 25 or 100, they do cost more.

I have complained to two sellers in the past about their shipping charges and one of their explanations is what I included in my post.

I do agree completely with Pete's quotation below:

"I suggest that every time one of us doesn't bid on a chip, because of shady shipping or expensive shipping, that we drop a note to the seller and say, in a polite manner. I like your chip(s), but I won't be bidding on any of them because of your shipping policy.

Pretty soon the people who are "charging too much" will get a hint."

So the bottom line is, if you think the shipping is too much, don't bid on the item.
