Both the Strat and the Sahara are good, fun, and inexpensive places to stay and they both have low limit tables but they are at the far end of the strip.

If you would like to stay in the middle of the strip on the cheap, the Boardwalk is well kept secret. It sits right between the Monte Carlo and the Belagio and right across the street is the MGM and Paris all within easy walking distance.

It's probably a two star hotel at best but it is priced right, offers $3 tables, and a great location.
