To all you older gamblers...........

Has anyone seen these type of book making cards before. Am I correct to say that in the case of the Ohio Club card, that this is a $3 bet on horse #3 to Place. If I'm wrong please explain the useage. (The card size is about the same as a baseball card.)

These cards are early 1900's since the Ohio didn't open till 1905 and the Arkansaw was destroyed by fire in 1913.

Were these type cards used in early Vegas and other cities? Any information on this type of betting would be appreciated.
