Never sure what to do when I check out a auction for a drilled chip. Beginning to build my collection of older Vegas chips ( 50's and 60's ).
But what to do when a chip that interests me is drilled. Do you hold off and hope to run across an undrilled version? I am sure the undrilled version will cost me more, and certainly has more value, but does that mean it is silly to pay for a chip that is drilled?
Who buys drilled chips, and is it a wise or a foolish investment. Do drilled chips still become more valuable as time passes?
Will someone look at your nice collection of older chips and comment " you moron, it has a hole in it"!
Exactly when do you make the decision to purchase a drilled chip? I have passed on many chips that I found desirable, simply because of that annoying little hole.
I await your response.
