I disagree. My perspective is a long term view as to slabbings potential harm to the chip collecting hobby. Buying one chip,even a higher value chip at a substantial discount, could encourage the slabbing companies & dealers that support the practice. Next thing you know the slabbing companies are back, prices may rise to cover slabbing costs, and the chipping community is screwed. So short term, yes I might make out on one chip. Long term, I might pay thru the rear on future purchases. I'll bite the bullet now and pass on any slabbed chip regardless of cost.
We must be vigilante in our opposition to slabbed chips if we are to protect our hobby. I hope you decide not to bid.
BTW, I am not on the slab free list. However, I am unalterably opposed to slabbing and anyone that condones the practice.
